Fan-ID als Visumersatz Juni und Juli 2017/2018

Habe soeben Tickets für den confed cup gekauft. Um ins Stadion zu gelangen muss man vorher eine sogenannte Fan-ID beantragen (https://www.fan-id.ru/). Glaubt man den Informationen auf der Webseite, genügt diese Fan-ID als Visumersatz. Für mich eine sehr gute Nachricht, da mein aktuelles Business-Visum vorher abläuft und ich mir zumindest für diese Reise die Visumgebühren sparen kann. Tickets für die Vorrunde des confed cup gibt es ab 70 USD, das ist weniger als viele Visa-Agenturen für ein einfaches Touristenvisum verlangen. Wer sich also sowieso vorgenommen hatte zu dieser Zeit nach Russland zu reisen, sollte diese Möglichkeit ernsthaft in Betracht ziehen - Man spart bei der Visumgebühr und kann sich noch ein Fußballspiel anschauen. Der Visa-Pre-Sale endet im übrigen heute. Die reguläre Verkaufsperiode beginnt dann am 01. Dezember.

The Russian Federation has allowed for free visa-entry to all foreign citizens and stateless persons ten days before the date of the first match of the 2018-FWC and before the 2017-FCC and ending ten days after the date of the last match of the consecutive events, i.e. for the next periods of time:
- from 07.06.2017 to 12.07.2017 and;
- from 04.06.2018 to 25.07.2018.

The arrival of foreign citizens and stateless persons to the Russian Federation as football event visitors, and departure from the Russian Federation does not require visa processing on the basis of documents confirming identity and acknowledged by the Russian Federation as such and hold a match ticket or a document giving the right to obtain such a match ticket.
Upon entering the Russian Federation with a FAN ID it will also be possible to cross state border crossing point of the Russian Federation.

Required documents for state border crossing points:

- passport/document confirming identity (to be valid within the term of the FAN ID as an entry document);

- FAN ID or effective visa in order to enter the territory of the Russian Federation.

Required documents for Boarding procedures (includes all means of international carriage):

A visitor with a FAN ID shall be provided with unimpeded boarding an aircraft at the point of departure.

Presentation of a FAN ID upon check-in on flights within the territory of the Russian Federation shall not be required.
